Privacy policy.

What this policy covers
This policy covers visits to this website, emails you send us and requests to join the early-access waitlist. It does not cover processing within the DATAMULA app or a connected Amazon account.
Who looks after your information?
DATAMULA Ltd is responsible for the information collected through this website and its waitlist form. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact [email protected] or write to our registered office below.
Joining the waitlist
The form asks for your email address, whether you are a brand owner, agency or other, your Amazon selling model, the number of Amazon Brand Registry brands you work with, and an estimated annual Amazon turnover range in GBP. The emailed submission also includes the form’s start time, a request reference and the consent notice shown when you submit.
We use these details to understand your business, assess your early-access request and contact you about it. Requests are reviewed manually; the form does not make automated selection decisions. We do not sell your details or share them for third-party marketing.
Joining is optional. Fields marked required are needed to submit the form; for turnover you can choose “Prefer not to say”. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide these details. Joining does not subscribe you to a newsletter, create an app account or connect Amazon.
Your consent
When you check the consent box and submit the form, we rely on your consent to review your early-access request and contact you about it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your email address, message and any information you include to respond and manage the conversation. For ordinary enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. When handling privacy rights requests or data protection complaints, we also use information necessary to meet our legal obligations.
We keep ordinary correspondence while the enquiry and any necessary follow-up remain open. After that, we retain only information still needed for a specific legal requirement or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, and delete it when that reason ends. This is separate from the waitlist retention period below.
How is your submission handled?
We handle early-access requests by email. Your request is stored in our email records and processed by our email-delivery and mailbox service providers.
Access is restricted to authorised DATAMULA personnel and the providers needed to deliver email, host the website and keep these services secure, in their respective roles. There is no public subscriber list.
We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, our mailbox and security. They handle information for the purposes described in this policy. You can contact [email protected] to ask about these providers, where information is processed, and the safeguards relevant to any international transfers.
Our email delivery provider processes and stores email data in the United States under contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum. Contact [email protected] for details or a copy of these safeguards.
How long is it kept?
We delete waitlist emails and related working notes when you ask for removal or withdraw consent, or within 365 days after your latest early-access request, whichever comes first. A new request does not automatically replace or delete earlier emails.
Email providers may retain delivery records, recoverable-deleted messages or backups separately from the active inbox. Deleting an active email does not immediately remove every provider copy. Contact [email protected] for information about provider retention and deletion arrangements.
Technical data and security
Technical requests can include your IP address and browser metadata. We use information needed to deliver the site and prevent abuse, relying on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
To prevent repeated or abusive submissions, we temporarily use information derived from your IP address. The check uses a ten-minute activity window, and expired information is cleared during normal site operation. This information is not included in waitlist emails. Hosting and security providers may also process request information as described above.
Cookies and browser storage
Our security provider may set the essential __cf_bm cookie to distinguish automated traffic. It normally expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
With your consent, Google Analytics helps us understand website visits and use of the waitlist. This optional choice is separate from consent to submit the waitlist form. You can accept, reject or withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer. Rejecting or withdrawing stops analytics and removes the analytics cookies set by this site.
Google Analytics uses pseudonymous client and session identifiers and receives page paths and titles, the referring site, interactions, device and browser details, language and general location. Google receives network information when providing the service. We do not send form answers to Google Analytics or use it for advertising, Google signals or user-provided data collection. Pages with query strings are not measured.
- _ga and _ga_1KV9CXEEVT: optional Google Analytics cookies that distinguish visits and sessions; configured to expire after 180 days, though browsers may delete them sooner.
- Analytics choice: browser local storage remembers your choice for 180 days. A temporary session-storage record may protect a withdrawal if saving the choice fails; it lasts for the browser session.
Google Analytics retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for 14 months; new activity resets the user-level retention period. Most standard aggregated reports are retained separately from these settings.
Google processes analytics data for us and may process it in the United States and other countries. Google uses the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for eligible transfers to the United States, and contractual safeguards where applicable. You can read Google’s transfer information or contact us for details or a copy of the safeguards.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent or a portable copy of information you provided, where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Your rights depend on the circumstances. We respond without undue delay, usually within one calendar month, and normally without charge. If the law allows us to extend the time, charge a fee or refuse a request, we will explain why. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity.
Privacy complaints
You can make a privacy complaint using the email or postal contact below. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
